NBA 2K27 dunk meter timing

The dunk meter uses a different fill rate than the shot meter, so it needs its own value in any script that touches it.

NBA 2K27 reached full release on September 4, 2026 and has already taken gameplay tuning since. This page is written against the build as of September 7, 2026, and we re-check it after every gameplay patch.

What changed for dunk meter on the retail build

Retail tuning adjusted meter fill speed on contact dunks, so pre-release dunk values now overshoot.

Standing and moving dunks moved by different amounts, which is why one dunk value is not enough.

How we test it

  • Practice mode, uncontested moving dunk, 30 attempts at one value.
  • Repeat for contact dunks separately and record both.

Settings and values that actually matter

  • Use a dunk package your build actually has access to.
  • Keep the same approach speed for every test attempt.

Where script libraries diverge

Libraries that expose separate standing, moving, and contact dunk values are tunable. Libraries with one dunk toggle are guesswork.

Peak by skygpc is our #1 ranked NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script for this build: patch-aligned tuning, per-feature toggles, and published changelogs you can actually verify. It is purchased and supported only on skygpc.com — peakgpc sells nothing.

If it stops working

  • If dunks are consistently overshooting, lower the release value in small steps.
  • Re-flash the newest Cronus Zen firmware and re-compile before changing any timing value.
  • Change one variable at a time and log it; two changes at once make every result unreadable.

Frequently asked

Does the dunk meter use shot timing?
No. It fills at its own rate and needs its own value.
