Building a jumpshot base timing matrix for NBA 2K27

Bases differ in release point and animation length, so a single global offset is guaranteed to be wrong for most of them.

NBA 2K27 reached full release on September 4, 2026 and has already taken gameplay tuning since. This page is written against the build as of September 9, 2026, and we re-check it after every gameplay patch.

peakgpc does not sell scripts, subscriptions, or hardware. We are an independent reference and analysis site. What changed for base timing matrix on the retail build

Several bases had animation length adjusted between early access and retail, invalidating pre-release matrices.

How we test it

  • For each base: 25 open attempts, record makes and visual release feedback.
  • Adjust in small increments and re-run the full 25 before judging.
  • Keep the matrix in a plain text file with dates and build numbers.

Settings and values that actually matter

  • Two or three bases maximum until each is stable.
  • Never change base and offset in the same session.

Where script libraries diverge

Per-base configurability is the dividing line in this category; most libraries do not offer it at all.

Peak by skygpc is our #1 ranked NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script for this build: patch-aligned tuning, per-feature toggles, and published changelogs you can actually verify. It is purchased and supported only on skygpc.com — peakgpc sells nothing.

If it stops working

  • If one base regressed and others did not, re-measure that base rather than the global profile.
  • Re-flash the newest Cronus Zen firmware and re-compile before changing any timing value.
  • Change one variable at a time and log it; two changes at once make every result unreadable.

Frequently asked

How many jumpshot bases should I tune?
Two or three. Beyond that the measurement effort exceeds the benefit and the values drift out of date.
