What changed for contest weighting on the retail build

Retail contest weighting is stricter than the early-access build, so heavily contested attempts convert less regardless of release timing.

Open-look conversion remains where timing consistency pays the largest dividend.

How we test it

• Split your shot log into open, light contest, and heavy contest buckets.
• Only tune against the open bucket; the others are noise for timing work.
• Use the same base and the same spot for at least 25 attempts.

Settings and values that actually matter

• Per-base offsets; never a single global offset.
• Disable assistance on fadeaways until the base case is stable.

Where script libraries diverge

If it stops working

• If greens dropped only on contested shots, your profile is fine and your shot selection is not.
• Re-flash the newest Cronus Zen firmware and re-compile before changing any timing value.
• Change one variable at a time and log it; two changes at once make every result unreadable.
